(Event) “The Professional Journey of a Physician /CEO”

On March 26th, the French Tech Hub is co-organizing a great event about The Professional Journey of a Physician/CEO, with the objective to answer two main questions:

  • How do careers unfold in unexpected ways?
  • How can you blend Values, Goals and Opportunities?

Dr. David Schenkein, CEO at Agios Pharmaceuticals, will share his outstanding professional journey as a highly recognized Cancer Specialist at Tufts Medical Center and as a rising leader in the Pharmaceuticals Industry and Biotechnology. He will first develop and analyze the challenges of being a leader in terms of strategies and scientific methods, while working at multiple innovative Biotech companies. He will also point out the major impact of mentors and role models who can inspire and shape a career path. Then, he will highlight his medical vision regarding the evolution of cancer therapy during the last 20 years and explain the novel approach he is working on at Agios.
