TechShowcase at CaFFEET’14 on Smart Factory & Energy Efficiency

CaFFEET, the Californian French Forum on Energy Efficiency Technologies, is an annual 2-days event started in 2011 by EDF, PRIME, and the French consulate in San Francisco. Its aim is to foster technical and scientific collaborations on Energy Efficiency.

 Each year, this event brings together over 150 experts from Universities, R&D centers, utilities, corporations and startups.  CaFFEET’14 will address the topic of Smart Factory to demonstrate how smart solutions (sensors, software, data analytics…) add value to manufacturing productivity and industrial energy management. It will take place at Fort Mason, San Francisco CA on November 19th and 20th.

The TechShowcase

In conjunction with CaFFEET’14, The French Tech Hub and PRIME are selecting 14 start-ups that will have the opportunity to present their solutions during the TechShowcase.

Selected companies will showcase their solution in front of a savvy audience of potential US and French partners, investors and media.

The TechShowcase includes:

  • 3 minutes to present
  • 2 minutes for Q&A
  • A table in the exhibition area to showcase their technology.

 All the startups participating to the TechShowcase will get free entrance at CaFFEET’14

There will be two pitch sessions where start-ups will have 5 minutes to pitch for their solutions and to answer some questions. Aside from this, start-ups will have a dedicated booth in the main venue to showcase their solutions and to network with potential partners and customers. If you are a startup that is developing solution on Energy Efficiency and/or on Smart Factory, you are invited to register for these technology showcase sessions.

What is at stake?

Promotion Thanks to its pitch sessions and demonstration tables, the TechShowcase is a great opportunity to present your solution on stage and in the exhibition area.

Business PRIME and The French Tech Hub will help startups throughout the conference and introduce them to the most relevant business partners, investors and potential customers. They can also help to schedule one-on-one meetings.

Knowledge CaFFEET brings together a crowd of specialists. By attending this conference, startups can meet and engage with key experts and researchers who are currently developing state-of-the-art technologies for Smart factories and Energy efficiency.

Market Surveillance CaFFEET’14 will also be the perfect place to meet with other startups and benchmark your solution against theirs on such an emerging market as the Smart factory. Initiate potential partnerships scan the market
