NETVA 2015 : Applications are open!

The NETVA (New Technology Venture Accelerator) program helps young disruptive startups from France to seize business opportunities and to initiate technological partnerships in the United States and Canada. Led by the Offices for Science & Technology – Embassy of France in Boston, San Francisco Washington D.C. and Toronto, NETVA is a unique program of preparation to high-tech North American markets for young innovative French startups.

What NETVA offers

NETVA allows young French innovative companies to effectively address the North American market in their specific industry. The selected companies will receive both entrepreneurial training and practice during a week long immersion in the United States or Canada. The companies will also be supported and accompanied by one or two local mentors in order to establish a lasting relationship with North American partners. NETVA therefore offers 3 major components:

TRAINING

  • Preparation conference & seminar in Paris 2 days
  • Worshop in the U.S. and Canada 5 half-days

MENTORING

  • Dedicated high level mentor
  • Follow-up by the NETVA team

NETWORKING in the U.S. and Canada

  • One-on-One meetings
  • Social events

The winners of the NETVA  program will be able to address the North American market through a week of intense immersion in one of the most vibrant ecosystems in the world : San Francisco, Boston, Washington DC or Toronto

Objectives

  • Develop academic and technology partnerships with significant added value
  • Acquire expertise in the U.S. and Canada innovation market
  • Analyze growth opportunities in the North American market

Program and deadlines

  • February 4th – April 6th 2015 : Applications are open
  • May 2015 : Selection Committees in France and in the US and Canada
  • June 2015 : Winners of the 2015 edition are given
  • June 17, 18 & 19th 2015 : NETVA conference and workshops in Paris
  • July, August and September 2015 : Mentoring and preparation of the immersion week
  • Between September and November 2015 : Immersion week in Boston, San Francisco, Washington D.C and Toronto
